We have wonderful opportunities for young people, as well as adults, to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe environment. Being outdoors and in the company of animals is fantastic for our mental and physical well-being.

Please note: Due to the risk of zoonotic diseases, we advise pregnant ladies and anyone who is immunocompromised to avoid visiting the farm.

Spend a magical time meeting Autumn and Heather, our gentle and much-loved Highland cows. This hands-on experience - You’ll have the chance to feed them, learn all about their unique personalities and spend time up close.

Explore the rest of the farm and meet our other super-friendly animals, from playful goats to curious chickens.

Highland Cow Experiences

Meet & Bleat

Sessions are 1 hour slots. Fridays and Saturdays. You’ll meet goats, sheep, cows, chickens, rabbits and more. We’ve got young goat kids and some adorable older lambs - and yes, you can get hands-on too!

Whether you’re a local family or visiting the island, our tours are a fun, relaxed way to learn about farm life. It’s educational, it’s interactive, and most importantly - it’s great fun for kids and grown-ups!

Sunday Farming Club

Join us from 2 - 4pm most Sundays for 5 weeks for a fun, friendly, and inclusive farming experience designed for young people aged 8–16. This is a great opportunity to learn hands-on farming skills while spending time with our super-friendly animals, enjoying the outdoors, and making new friends along the way.

It’s all about building confidence, connection, and being part of a welcoming community.

Little Farmers

Join our Little Farmers toddler group most Mondays, 9:30-11 am, specially designed for children aged from walking to 4 years! Each week, enjoy a fun-filled one-hour session where little ones can get stuck into farm-themed activities, spend time with our super-friendly animals, and even help feed them.

It’s the perfect way to explore, learn, and play in a hands-on farm environment. It’s a relaxing experience for both children and grown-ups.

Each child will also receive a drink and a biscuit. Sessions are £12 for one child and one adult, with siblings under 18 months are free!

SEND “Friendship at the Farm” is an Isle of Wight council-funded project that takes place most weeks as part of the Short Breaks program. It's for families with children and young people with SEND aged 5-16 and who hols a Short Breaks membership card. (if you don’t have a Short Breaks card, please contact IOW Council who will be happy to help you join.

We provide a range of fun, enjoyable, and safe activities to ensure children are given fair access to opportunities that help them grow and develop.

Our animals are known to be calm, attentive, and patient. We know that hands-on experiences with animals can bring joy and confidence through their nurturing power.

Saturdays, 9:30-11am, 2-3:30pm

SEND “Friendship at the Farm”

Young Carers Wellbeing Club

Isle of Wight Council-funded. Young carers are invited to come along to the farm to relax, unwind, and spend time with our lovely, friendly farm animals.

You'll have lots of fun and spend time hands-on with our animals, reaping the benefits of being up close with nature.

Alternate Saturdays: Under 10 Years and 10-18 years, 11:30-1pm.

Needle Felting at The Farm

Come along to the farm for a relaxing and creative afternoon at IOW Rare Breeds CIC. Spend time meeting our friendly sheep, getting hands-on as you feel their beautifully soft fleeces and learn about these wonderful animals. Then, enjoy a guided needle felting session using fleece from the farm, creating your own unique keepsake to take home. This experience is for ages 14 and over, (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).

Perinatal Wellbeing Club

Isle of Wight Council-funded - Join us fortnightly for a calm and welcoming session in the heart of the countryside.

These sessions are designed especially for new parents, offering a gentle, supportive space where you can simply come as you are. No pressure, no expectations… just time to breathe, relax and connect with other parents.

Sessions are fortnightly. £5 per family (up to 4 people, including babies)

Goat Yoga

Join us for pilates, with playful goats! Experience real joy and real movement.
Our pilates classes are lead by a professional, Laura Scovell, in the fresh open outdoors. You can expect to build your strength, flexibility and feel relaxed and recharged.

We have an indoor space to run sessions if the weather is wet, windy, or too hot!

Classes are an hour in total: 45 mins of pilates followed by a 15 min cool-down & relaxation. A delicious juice is included, plus time to spend exploring our farm and interacting with our animals.

Classes are on occasional Sundays, at 9am or 5pm. See the timetable.

Mats are not included; please bring your mat with you.

Tractor & Trailer Rides

Join us on the farm for a fun-filled animal encounter and a tractor and trailer ride through our cow fields.
Get up close to our friendly animals, including cows, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, chickens and rabbits, while enjoying the beautiful countryside..

Tickets are £15. Children under 3 go free. Tickets are required for everyone aged 3 and over.

Dates: Fridays at 5:30pm -7pm

School Programs & Visits

School trips to the farm are fun, engaging, and an experience that children will never forget. We offer educational programs for all school years, with up to 30 children at a time.

We also have a program specifically designed to support young people with mental health challenges, enhance self-esteem and self-confidence, and assist those on the ASD spectrum. These programmes are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and are structured to achieve measurable outcomes.
